International Yoga Day to get a mega coverage in Doordarshan

Doordarshan is likely to make International Yoga Day event a mega one. It is learnt from the sources that the Public broadcaster would deploy more than 20 hi-definition cameras for the coverage of the event on June 21st. The event will take place at New Delhi’s Rajpath, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will preside over the event.
Sources also revealed that two cameras will be placed atop India gate, one a high hydraulic crane to give a bird's eye view of the entire Rajpath from India Gate to Vijay Chowk, while other cameras will be on jib giving an all-round coverage of the performances. A special team comprising engineers, cinemtographers, scenic and property experts will be on duty for the live telecast of the event.
A huge number of audience is also expected to participate in the event.
All India Radio (AIR) too has planned to the event live on the occasion of International Yoga Day.
