Image nation joins hands with Discovery to launch ‘Quest Arabiya’ in the Middle East

Image Nation and Discovery have entered into joint venture to create and launch a new Arabic television channel ‘Quest Arabiya’ for the audiences of Middle East and North Africa.
The channel will be free-to-air and will go live in the final quarter of 2015. It will focus on male-oriented factual and reality programmes. The channel is primarily aimed at Arab men aged 16-44, but will provide content that will appeal to the entire family. Key programming genres will include adventure and survival, motoring, engineering, wildlife, history and people and places. 
The 24x7 channel will be led by Image Nation GM, Carl Von Doussa with over 19 years of experience in television and digital markets in Europe and the Middle East. 
The launch of Quest Arabiya will promote the growth of Discovery and further localize its presence in the Mena TV market. Operating from UAE, the company currently offers a portfolio of TV channels, in the Middle East, as well as pay TV channels.
