Gurjeev Singh Kapoor has been appointed as India distribution head by Star India. He is also the head of international business of the broadcaster. Earlier, he was the COO of Star-Zee distribution JV Media Pro.
As international distribution head, Gurjeev’s portfolio included distribution, ad sales and syndication for international business. His key territories included the UK, Europe, US, ME, Africa & APAC.
At Star India, he is credited with curbing piracy and accelerating the pace of digitisation to bring greater transparency in the business.
