DSport buys broadcast rights of tri-nation cricket series

The newly launched sports channel DSport is looking aggressive in content acquisition. Discovery Communications India’s channel has now bought the broadcast rights of the 2018 Nidahas Trophy featuring Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka. Earlier, the sportscaster had acquired the broadcast rights of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2018.

The matches will be held in Sri Lanka, and will be played from 15-30 March. The T20 tournament is being played to celebrate Sri Lanka’s 70th year of independence.
