SPNI to telecast 3rd edition of Pro Wrestling League on its FTA channel SonyWah

To reach bigger audience and sports loving fans, Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) is planning to telecast the third edition of Pro Wrestling League on its free-to-air (FTA) Hindi movie channel Sony Wah. Sony Wah has strong presence in rural India.


The series will also be streamed on video on demand (VoD) platform SonyLIV. The tournament will take place at Siri Fort Sports Complex in New Delhi from 9 to 26 January.

According to SPNI president sports and distribution business Rajesh Kaul , “Wrestling is a sport that has a rich tradition in India and leagues like Pro Wrestling League have been keeping the sport alive. The brilliance of wrestlers like Sushil Kumar, Sandeep Tomar, Bajrang Punia, the Phogat sisters amongst others has put India on the world map and made us a force to reckon with. Fans can look forward to aggressive showdowns between the best of Indian and International talent. We are ecstatic to continue our partnership with Pro Wrestling League for the third consecutive season and bring the best of combat sports content to the fans.
