Sony gets 7 sponsors for India-South Africa series

The India-South Africa series will start from 5 January, and Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has already won seven sponsors for it. The list includes Maruti Suzuki, Raymond, Make My Trip and Idea 4G, Byju’s, Kent and 99 acres. The series will have 3 Tests, 6 ODIs, and 3 T20s. It will be telecast on Sony Ten 1 and Sony Ten 3 in English and Hindi respectively.


Sony has also launched a campaign to generate buzz around the series. ‘Hisaab 25 SaalKa’, the campaign is centredon the fact that the Indian team is yet to win a Test series in South Africa since their first tour in 1992.
