Google to launch physical stores to sell Pixel smartphones

In India, brick & mortar stores are more popular even today than online for reasons like customers having a touch feel of the products.

Enthused by the response to more than a dozen pop-up stores in malls across India, including High Street Phoenix in Mumbai, and Select Citywalk, Promenade, Mall of India in Delhi-NCR to showcase Pixel 2 phones and educate consumers on its features, Google will now open stores in several cities to sell its Pixel phones.

According to sources, the stores will start coming up in the second half of the year 2018. The sources tell that at least two prominent malls in India said they have received requests for space to set up Google stores.
