Actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra’s Viaan Industries is planning to enter OTT segment to cash in on the big boom caused by cheaper data and phone rates. The subscription based video on demand (VoD) service will be dedicated to health and wellness.
Viaan has already created 100 hours of content for its OTT platform.
Raj Kundra said: “Shilpa is going to launch her own OTT platform soon. It will purely into health space and paid OTT service which she will announce soon. She has been working on it since last year and it will have around 100 hours of content for start totally into wellness space.”
In 2017, the actress launched her gaming app Domestic Diva, Cooking Diner Café which tests the culinary skills of players. The app requires players to earn points by cooking dishes and serving customers.
Shilpaal ready has a big presence on YouTube through her channel Shilpa Shetty Kundra. The channel has content related to healthy cooking, fitness and yoga. The channel has more than half a million subscribers.
