Vodafone announced its mobile network expansion in Arunachal Pradesh

On 3 March, Vodafone announced that the company is going to expend its mobile network in two more districts of Arunachal Pradesh namely Daporijo in Upper Subansiri District, and Aalong and Basar in West Siang District. 
With this launch, Vodafone has become the first private telecom operator to expand its footprint in the region. Now Vodafone would cover 11 out of 18 districts, around 385 towns and villages, and more than 27 per cent of the population in the state.  
Vodafone had earlier announced its network expansion to Zero Point, Bomdila, Rupa and Tenga in West Kameng district of Arunahcal Pradesh.
