AL Jazeera English inks deal with Airtel Digital TV

Al Jazeera English (AJE), an international 24-hour English-language news and current affairs TV channel owned and funded by the House of Thani's Al Jazeera Media Network, headquartered in Doha, Qatar has signed a distribution agreement with Airtel Digital TV. Now AJE will be available on Airtel Digital TV’s channel number 321. 
Now Al Jazeera English will be accessible on all major direct-to-home (DTH) platforms like Dish TV, Tata Sky and Reliance Digital TV. 
Al Jazeera Media Network executive director marketing and distribution Abdulla Al Najjar said, “We have a strategic commitment to employ new avenues and platforms for audiences across the world to access our content. We look forward to delivering Al Jazeera English’s ground-breaking content for audiences across India with such partnerships.” 
Globally, Al Jazeera English is available in over 260 million households across 130 countries.
