QYOU Media partners with iflix for content distribution

To reach new-age viewers, QYOU Media has partnered with the leading subscription video on demand (VoD) service iflix which will distribute its curated online video content in 25 global territories.


Iflix Group chief content officer Sean Carey said: “QYOU is a great partner to help us in the quest. They have a proven ability to curate, customize and package the best of short form local online video content for audience. Introducing exclusive QYOU content, beginning with Southeast Asia will help further enrich our offering by showcasing some of the best local entertainment the region has to offer.”

The deal also includes exclusive locally hosted formats on iflix’s service in Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippines.

According to QYOU Media CEO and co-founder Curt Marvis: “Both of our companies recognise that there is a global shift towards a more culturally relevant and personalised content experience, We are thrilled to partner with iflix, who recognise the importance of delivering curated locally produced content and share our ambitions to bring customers the best content.”
