MSM Discovery issues disconnection notice to cable operators

MSM Discovery on 12th March had issued a disconnection notice to cable operators for non-payment of outstanding dues and for renewal of agreement.
The consumers falling under the umbrella of theses cable operators will face disconnection of following channels, Set , Sab, Pix, Mix, Six, Axn, TLC, Animax, Discovery channel, Discovery Turbo, Discovery Science, AAj Tak, Headlines Today, Times Now, Movies Now, Set HD, etc.

The public notice carries the details of the area that will suffer disconnection including the names of defaulting cable operators. Content aggregation also seems to be adding additional pressure on broadcasters to clear the entire debt.   As per our sources, Sony is demanding 20% hike in subscription keeping in mind the fast approaching IPL and content aggregation demand.
