Hathway Cable launches broadband service in Bengaluru

With the great result in Mumbai and Pune, multi-system operator (MSO) Hathway Cable & Datacom on 26th March has launched 50mbps broadband service on its Docsis 3.0 ultra high speed network in Bengaluru. 
The 50 mbps Docsis 3.0 broadband service starts with a monthly price of Rs 733. A complete portfolio of 50 mbps plans is being launched to cater to residential and corporate customers. The MSO said that customers in Bengaluru will not only enjoy 50 mbps speed with a 99.9 per cent uptime guarantee, but will also experience Gold Standard Customer Support with fully trained staff to handle any service requirements pertaining to high-speed internet access through multiple devices and a guaranteed service issue resolution within 24 hours. 
Hathway, which is investing Rs 600 million in its broadband business, is betting big on Docsis 3.0 as it has helped the company reduce its churn in cities where it has been rolled out. The company has also spruced up its customer service to grow its customer base.
