Veteran Journalist Karan Thapar, famous for his aggressive interviewing style on his popular show ‘The Devil Advocate’ on 28th March has inducted into Headlines Today.
Thapar, who has been associated with the TV18 group for over 10 years now, was anchoring two shows—‘The Devil’s Advocate’ and ‘The Last Word’—on the group’s flagship English news channel CNN-IBN.
Our sources in the TV Today group confirmed that Thapar will be working for Headlines Today from next 1St April 2014. However, his new role was not clear till the filing of this report.
With TV18 he was associated as consultant and his company Infotainment Television Pvt Ltd (ITV) was producing the shows for the channel. He also produced and anchored ‘India Tonight’ for CNBC-TV18.
