Cable TV office ransacked in Guntur

On 15 March, the office of Narsaraopet Grameena Cable Vision, Navodaya Nagar, Guntur, was broke into by unidentified persons. The Police suspected that the incident took place due to rivalry between Grameena cable Vision and A. K. Cable in the town. Cable Vision accused that A.K. Cable was trying to poach into its region and hence cut the cable connections of A. K Cable. A case had been registered by SHO.
Police said that a group of unidentified men barged into the office around mid night. They ransacked the cable equipment, including the studio room and damaged the property of around Rs.5 lakh.
