Dish TV and Ten Sports bring UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League on Dish TV

The UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League Matches would be brought exclusively on the DTH platform Dish TV by Ten Sports on Pay per view basis. The football matches would be telecast on the sports channel Ten Sports.
46 select matches in 24 days would be offered to the viewers on Pay per View (PPV) basis in India through Football on Demand on Dish TV.
The chief operating officer of Dish TV, Salil Kapoor, says, “Being pioneers and market leader of the DTH Industry we have led the way with many first in the industry, it is our constant endeavor to innovate and bring best product offerings in the DTH industry. Dish TV has established itself as the most popular DTH with Maximum number of Sports channels; it is our constant effort to provide our customers the best of Sporting action and this time by launching “Football on Demand” for the first time in India exclusively on Pay per View for our subscribers”.
The telecast of the matches would take place either live or deferred live, so the viewers would be able to catch up even on those matches they have missed. On a day if there are 4 live matches, only 2 live matches on football on demand would be available on Pay per view basis whereas the other two matches will be shown on Ten Action or Ten Sports channels.
Dish TV subscribers can order the matches through Phone/SMS, or by logging onto www.dishtv.in. SMS SYNTAX – MOD99 to 57575. Subscribers will also be able to give advance requests and once the request is received they will automatically get the channel without any intervention required. The (football on demand) FOD channel can be availed of at a price of Rs 100 (including taxes).
