Nilesat signals being ‘jammed’ deliberately

An Egyptian Satellite Company Nilesat has been jamming some of its channels deliberately.
Bashar Sabsub, Syria’s General Authority for Radio & Television, said that Syria’s state-backed satellite channel Syria TV is being jammed. He said that viewers could switch to Syria Drama which would carry the main channel’s output.
He told Syrian news agency SANA that it was in contact with Nilesat to attempt to resolve the problem.
However, Syria’s TV channels have repeatedly been jammed and unfortunately, with this kind of deliberate jamming, other ‘innocent’ channels are also getting affected.
