As per media sources, ZEEL has issued a demand notice of Rs 50 crore against MSO Hathway. The dues are for a period of 4-5 months. On 20 February, broadcaster ZEEL has moved the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) to recover its dues.
The petition was filed under ‘abundant caution’, though their deal is valid till 31 March. TDSAT granted Hathway four weeks’ time to file the reply.
TDSAT will hear the matter on 16 April.
