As expected, Kalli Purie, daughter of Aroon Purie, has been appointed as vice-chairperson and MD of TV Today for a period of five years. The board of directors has approved the unanimous decision.
Also, TV Today Chairman and MD Aroon Purie has been re-designated as chairman and whole time director for five years.
The India Today Group has interests in TV, print and digital. Living Media is the parent company of the group and the promoter group in TV Today Network.
As reported by Cable Quest in October 2017, India Today Group chairman and Editor-in-chief Aroon Purie had passed on the baton of the media group to his daughter Kalli Purie.
