President of India honored Amitabh Bachchan and forty more from film industry

41 Bollywood actors were honoured at the four-day event by the Indian president at the centenary celebrations of Indian cinema in Chennai. The coveted list included Amitabh Bachchan, Sridevi, Rekha, Javed Akthar, Ramesh Sippy, Kiran and Randhir Kapoor.
Addressing the assembled guests, President Mukherjee said that "Indian cinema is incomplete without the contribution of south Indian cinema.The achievement of the south film industry at the National Film Awards over the years is proof of the development of the industry."
