Snapdeal partners with DEN Networks to launch a TV Commerce channel

Online market player Snapdeal has entered into a 50:50 joint venture with DEN, India's television distribution company, to launch a TV Commerce channel ‘DEN Snapdeal TV shop'.
The channel will be available to all DEN’s subscribers and will soon be extended to other cable and DTH players over the next six months.
The company aims to create a multi-nodal e-shopping avenue for customers through this venture.
The new channel will compete with Naaptol, HomeShop18 and StarCJ.
