Kiran Vadodaria elected INS president

Kiran B. Vadodaria of Gujarati newspaper Sambhaav Metro was elected president of Indian Newspaper Society (INS) for 2014-15 at its 75th annual general meeting on 2 January.
P.V. Chandran (Grihalakshmi) will be the deputy president, Somesh Sharma (Rashtradoot Saptahik) the vice-president, Mohit Jain (Economic Times) the honorary treasurer and V. Shankaran the secretary-general of INS.
The 41-member Executive Committee includes Vijay Kumar Chopra (Punjab Kesri), Viveck Goenka (The Indian Express, Mumbai), Mahendra Mohan Gupta (Dainik Jagran), Sanjay Gupta (Dainik Jagran), R Lakshmipathy (Dinamalar) and Jayant Mammen Mathew (Malayala Manorama).
Naresh Mohan (Sunday Statesman), M P Veerendrakumar (Mathrubhumi), Hormusji N Cama (Bombay Samachar Weekly), K N Tilak Kumar (Deccan Herald & Prajavani) and Ravindra Kumar (The Statesman) are also members of the Executive Committee.
