CQ- All major GECs registers decline in week 19 ratings

As the Lok Sabha election has reached in final stage and the Indian Premium League (IPL) is progressing into the next week, the general entertainment channels have shown decline in viewership in week 19 (May 6-12) of 2014.
As per data sourced from TAM subscribers, Star Plus registered loss in gross viewership at 733 million TVTs in Week 19, as compared to 746 million TVTs in the previous week.
Zee TV, too, lost viewership, garnering 395 million TVTs, down from 409 million TVTs in Week 18. Colors was place third. Decline continued for the channel at 376 million TVTs in Week 19, as against 396 million TVTs in the previous week.
It was decline in gross viewership for Life OK as well at 348 million TVTs, as compared with 360 million TVTs in Week 18.
Sony Entertainment Television also witnessed decline in gross viewership and was placed fifth. The channel registered 286 million TVTs in Week 19, as against 291 million TVTs in the previous week.
