IBF appoints Girish Srivastava as secretary general

The Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF) said it has appointed Girish Srivastava as its secretary general.
In a statement released here, the IBF said that in a career spanning over 24 years, Srivastava has worked with NASSCOM (National Association of Software and Service Companies), Bechtel Corporation, Bechtel Management Consulting, Reliance Industries, Toyo Engineering India as well as on projects mainly funded by international donor agencies.
Welcoming his appointment, IBF President Uday Shankar, said, "I, along with rest of the IBF members welcome Girish and wish him success for his new assignment.”
The Indian Broadcasting Foundation was established in 1999. It has among its members broadcasters who manage around 350 channels.
