CQ-Sony Six acquires telecasting rights of Champions Tennis League

Multi Screen Media’s own sports channel Sony Six will air the first-ever Champion Tennis League event, featuring six city-based teams from 17-26 November, as the channel has acquired the broadcasting right of the event.
Each team will have one male and one female player ranked amongst top 25 in the ATP and WTA rankings. Each of the six teams will also have a top ranked Indian male tennis player. Two U-21 players from India, selected by All India Tennis Association, will also be playing.
MSM India CEO NP Singh said, “Introduction of Champions Tennis League will help redefine the Indian tennis market paradigm. This will be a landmark event that will put India on the global map of tennis, featuring some of the world’s greatest tennis stars playing right here in our country. We are excited about this partnership and believe that the tournament will be a perfect blend of tennis and entertainment that has never been seen in India.”
