Siti Cable’s net loss increased QoQ, EBITDA is up 6%

Subhash Chandra-promoted Siti Cable Network’s fiscal third-quarter operating profit has grown six per cent compared to the trailing three months even as the multi-system operator’s (MSO) payout to channels has gone up. Net loss has widened quarter-on-quarter while operating revenue has seen a 2.2 per cent increase. 
Siti Cable’s consolidated operating profit (EBITDA) went up from Rs. 32.98 crore ( Rs. 329.8 million) in the second quarter of the fiscal to Rs. 35 crore ( Rs. 350 million) in the three-month period ended 31 December 2013. In the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, EBITDA stood at Rs. 20.25 crore ( Rs. 202.5 million).
