I&B ministry celebrating 100 years of Indian cinema

Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tewari, who inaugurated a six-day-long film festival, marking the 100 years of Indian cinema, said that if there is something that truly epitomizes the diverse and unique cultural ethos of this country then it is definitely the 'Indian Cinema'. He also added that the Government would make all possible efforts to make India a major International Filming Destination.Cine celebrities like Ramesh Sippy, Vishal Bhardwaj from Bollywood and Nagarjuna Akkineni, Rana Daggubati from south and Veteran Oriya cinematographer-filmmaker Apurba Kishore Bir and many others graced the event.
