Hathway Cable and Datacom has appointed Jagadesh Babu Botta as executive vice-president, operations. He is currently serving his notice period at Ignitee Digital as chief financial officer.
Hathway recently appointed Tata Sky's KV Anand as president, digital platforms. It may be recalled that over a month ago, an old hand in the company, K Jayaraman, ended his 15-year stint with Hathway to join Zee Group. A little prior to that, Reliance Industry's Jagdish Kumar was taken aboard as MD and CEO, while Jayaraman was elevated to be the vice-chairman in December, last year (just before he called it quits).
A BCom graduate, he started his career with ITC as regional accountant-IBD Division in 1992. From there on, he moved to join News Television India (Star TV) as manager-Finance in 1995.
