Star India has appointed Rajeeta Hemwani as Vice-President for Content Engine while Saugata Mukherjee is slated to join as Creative Director at the VP level in content team.
Hemwani had rich experience in the music field while Mukherjee comes from the book publishing industry. Prior to joining Star India, Hemwani was running her own entrepreneurial venture, Eye On Entertainment & Wild Factory. She started her venture in 2011 after spending 15 years in companies like Universal Music Group, Reliance Entertainment, Times Music, Amitabh Bachchan Corporation (ABCL) and Tips Industries. Mukherjee comes with an experience of over 12 years in book publishing having worked in editorial functions at HarperCollins, NIIT, A. M. Health Company, Rupa & Company besides Pan Macmillan India.
