IBC 2012: Prisa TV and Nagra extend multiscreen service to a range of devices

Spain’s PRISA TV will be launching an extensive on-demand service on iOS devices with the help of NAGRA’s MediaLive Multiscreen solution and the service will be brought to Android, Samsung Smart TV app and Microsoft Xbox 360 as well. The goal is to form a strong pay-TV multiscreen service. 

NAGRA, the digital TV division of the Kudelski Group and PRISA TV, the company behind CANAL+ SPAIN, have announced PRISA TV’s CANAL+ Yomvi over-the-top service to iOs devices which will be using NAGRA MediaLive Multiscreen technology. The CANAL+ Yomvi service, first launched 2011 and later extended to OTT STBs, is expected to further extend to Android devices, Samsung Smart TVs and the Microsoft Xbox 360 consoles as well.
