BBC users to be able to download programmes on iplayer

BBC has launched mobile downloads for its app iPlayer. The mobile users would now be allowed to download BBC's TV programmes directly to their mobile devices for free, and would be able to keep those programmes for up to 30 days.
So now the programmes on BBC iPlayer’s app will be viewable even where the Internet connectivity is not available, without requiring access to Wi Fi or 3G signal. The app will be usable in underground locations, on planes, or any location where internet access not available.
