MIB to decide meeting of DAS task force on 2nd Wednesday of every month

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) has decided to hold Task Force meeting for Phase III of Digital Addressable System (DAS) on second Wednesday of every month. 
The MIB said that the meetings of sub-groups of national multi-system operators (MSOs), independent MSOs, local cable operators (LCOs) and Nodal Officers have been planned. 
For monitoring and evaluation, the MIB will set up 12 regional monitoring units by January 2015. Besides, a multi-lingual call centre will be set up by 28 February 2015. 
The MIB has constituted a publicity committee towards awareness campaign for Phase III. Advertisements for publicity are being given on print and electronic media beginning 15 November.
