The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) released a Consultation paper on “Distribution of TV channels from Broadcasters to Platform Operators” on 6th August 2013, inviting written comments from the stakeholders by 27thAugust, 2013.
On request of the stakeholders, the last date for receipt of written comments has been extended up to 03.09.2013. Subsequently, an Open House Discussion (OHD), on the issues dealt with in the consultation paper, will be held at Delhi on 12.09.2013. The date, time and venue will be intimated separately.
The comments may be sent, preferably in electronic form to Shri Wasi Ahmad, Advisor (B&CS), Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, Mahanagar Doorsanchar Bhawan, Jawahar Lal Nehru Marg, New Delhi – 110 002, on the e-mail addresstraicable@yahoo.co.in.
