Swiss telco Sunrise is to add new TV channels to its IPTV platform Sunrise TV, including several services in high definition.
New in the HD line-up are Swiss commercial channels VIVA Schweiz HD and 3+ HD, MTV Italia HD and La7 HD from Italy, as well as UK-based channels ITV Granada HD and Channel 4 HD. In total, Sunrise TV now comprises 45 HD channels.
The additions in standard definition are Swiss commercial channel 4+ and foreign channels TVP Polonia, RTR Planeta Russia and HRT 1 Croatia.
In total, Sunrise TV offers more than 200 TV and over 110 radio stations in the basic package.
Customers can also sign up for pay-TV packages, for example from Teleclub and Canal+, and use the video-on-demand service which contains over 1,500 movies.
