The 50th Creative ABBY Awards was held at Goafest 2018 in which Sony Pictures Networks India has won 6 medals in the broadcast category. It was on top with 32 points. Hindi GEC Sony Entertainment Television won four silver medals and two bronze medals.
Star India too won laurels at the ceremony. It secured the second position with four medals which accounted for 22 points in the broadcaster’s category. Star India’s OTT platform Hotstar won a bronze medal. Star Plus won a bronze and a silver medal.
Republic TV, CNN-News18 and Manorama News each won one medal. While Republic TV won silver for being the launch of the year, CNN-News 18 and Manorama News won bronze for Face-Off at 9 and Nattuvartha respectively.
