CQ-MIB advises MSOs to directly deal with ministry to get license

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) has advised applicants of multi system operators (MSO) license for DAS notified areas not to deal with any unauthorized mischievous person for the purpose, Ministry adopts very transparent way in dealing with issuance of MSO license and expects them to approach the concerned department directly.
The advisory has been issued after it came to Ministry’s notice that some persons are approaching MSO applicants with false claims for providing MSO license and demanding some gratification / bribe to get the work done. 
As per requirement, MSO applications with all details furnished are forwarded to Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) for obtaining Security Clearance. As soon as the requisite Security Clearance or otherwise is received from MHA, each case is processed, accordingly.
Ministry further states that, it organizes Open House Meeting, on every Tuesday at 11.00 hrs. in the room of Director (BP&L) in room no-662, A Wing 6th Floor Shastri Bhavan, New Delhi. 
For any doubt or enquiry about status of their applications, applicants may participate /attend the Open House Meeting by sending an email at sobpandl@gmail.com
In case they could not come in person, they can enquire about status of their file by sending an email to the above mentioned email IDs.
