9X Media unveils third compilation with Universal Music

Music network 9X Media has unveiled its third compilation with Universal Music on the iTunes India store. The network’s Bollywood hits channel 9X Jalwa has launched ‘9X Jalwa RD Burman Blockbuster Beats’ on iTunes. 
The compilation features 25 of the most popular Bollywood songs created by the legendary music director including ‘Mehbooba Mehbooba’, ‘Aa Dekhen Zara’, ‘Dil Lena Khel Hai Dildar Ka’, ‘Yamma Yamma’ and more. The songs can be downloaded from the iTunes store by paying Rs. 150. The compilation is meant to commemorate the classic tunes of the legend whose death anniversary was on 4 January.

Our earlier integrations with Universal Music have received a phenomenal response, with the albums featuring among the Top 10 iTunes albums. The collection of songs will be promoted on 9X Jalwa through in-video integrations and promo spots programmed at key tune-in times during the day. In addition, the network will do intensive marketing of the tunes across the social media communities of 9X Jalwa and Universal Music India.

Hence, we feel that the ‘9X Jalwa RD Burman Blockbuster Beats’ compilation was the ideal way to commemorate his death anniversary, through its offering of classic RD Burman hits to all his fans.”
