The leading OTT platform YuppTV has won the exclusive digital and television media rights for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 for South East Asian countries, Europe and South America, apart from securing non-exclusive rights for Australia.
YuppTV founder and CEO Uday Reddy said: “With these rights, we will be able to provide them with seamless, real-time access to all the matches and allow our viewers from across different geographical boundaries to watch their favorite teams in action on their preferred device!”
The IPL will be held during 7 April - 27 May 2018, and is known as the biggest and most eagerly awaited cricketing tournament. Star India is the exclusive global media rights owner of IPL till 2022.
Users in these regions can log on yupptv.com or via the YuppTV app on their smart TVs, smart Blu-ray players, streaming media players, gaming consoles, smartphones, and tablets.
