To cash in on the booming online segment, the direct-to-home (DTH) operator Tata Sky has started live TV and on-demand service on the web. It will be an extension of live TV on mobile service.
Tata Sky had launched TV on mobile service in October 2013. Tata Sky Mobile offers Live TV with over 220 channels besides shows and movies on demand from over 3500+ titles. The app also enables its customers to set reminders and record TV programmes on the set top box (STB).
In this new initiative, Tata Sky subscribers can watch live TV and on-demand content at watch.tatasky.com by logging in with their registered mobile number.
