WhatsApp upgrade: users can now switch from voice to video without disconnecting call

The leading messaging app WhatsApp has launched a new feature in its latest update. It has introduced a dedicated button to switch from video to voice call or vise versa without needing to disconnect the ongoing call. Earlier, they had to disconnect the call to make a switch.

This feature is currently available for Android users on WhatsApp beta latest version - which is 2.18.4 and newer. It will be rolled over for other OSs soon.
