The leading international OTT platform Netflix has planned to dominate the global markets including India with massive investments in 30 original series. The OTT platform told its investors that it is finding continued success with international originals.
The list of 30 orginals includes some heavy Indian content to keep an edge in the vast expanding market.
Netflix said: “Combined with attractive economics and a positive impact on our business in local markets, we will expand this initiative with over 30 international original series this year, including projects from France, Poland, India, Korea and Japan.”
In India the OTT player is working with Anurag Kashyap, Ronnie Screwvala, and Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
