Arundhati Nag to join the BCCC

Arundhati Nag will soon be joining the BCCC (Broadcasting Content Complaints Council) as a special invitee. This move has come in the wake of the rising number of complaints received against regional channels, according to a statement by BCCC.
Nag will be attending the BCCC meeting on July 10. The acclaimed theatre person, who has also worked in several Kannada films, will help assess the complaints filed against Kannada channels. Nag confirmed the news and told us, "Yes, I have joined BCCC as a member and will be attending the July 10 meeting."

Nag has also been among the front runners for the post of director at the National School of Drama. The final call for the position will be taken by the ministry of culture.
