Reliance Jio Media MSO ready for Phase 1 of cable TV rollout, early 2016

Reliance Jio Media, multi system operator (MSO) of Reliance Group is ready to roll out its cable television business across digital addressable system (DAS) in Phase 3 areas between Jan-Mar 2016.
Initially the company will start operation in 15 cities and subseqently will reach out to more than 100 cities over the next three years.
The MSO will offer both standard definiion (SD) and high definition (HD - incluing Ultra HD)  services to garner high average revenue per user (ARPU) satisfying the need of every type of consumer. Company has already finalised its infrastructure deals including the headend and distribution equipment and is also negotiating with many LCOs in the target cities.
Reliance Jio CEO K Jayaraman and COO SN Sharma, both are expert in the field with years of experience in National MSOs like Hathway and DEN.
