RBNL makes key appointments for television business

Reliance Broadcast Network Limited (RBNL) has made three key appointments in its television business. The new entrants at the network include Anirudh Maheshwari who has been appointed as national sales head for language TV, Shweta Arora, national sales head for Big CBS and Brijesh Tanna, head of content and communications for BIG CBS channels.
Maheshwari will be responsible for key decision making in the area of sales, and growing the business for the regional channels BIG Magic and Spark Punjabi across geographies. He has worked with Citibank, ICICI Prudential Life, Standard Chartered Bank, and Xerox. Client centricity in the past and business focus and building teams are his strengths as a professional. He will be reporting to Sunil Kumaran, Business Head – Language TV.

Arora will be heading the sales function for BIG CBS Networks and will be leading charge for planning and driving the sales strategy for the country nationally to increase market share and revenues for BIG CBS. She joins BIG CBS from ING Vysya Bank where she served as associate business head – North, for the bank’s private banking division. She has earlier worked with Citibank, Kotak Private Banking and ABN AMRO Bank. She also has expericne in the hospitality industry having worked with Taj Group of Hotels. 
Tanna will play an integral role and lead the mandates of content, brand solutions, OAP (on air promotions), and marketing among other areas. He has extensive experience in the communications space. He has worked with Star India as senior producer apart from serving as associate vice-president, content development & head entertainment commissioning for Astro Malaysia.
