Sony Pictures Television has appointed Arpit Mankar as head, programming, AXN. Earlier, Mankar was working with Reliance Broadcast Network as network programming head, TV.
Mankar, in his current role, will take care of the programming for the English general entertainment channel.
Mankar is a post graduate in advertising and communication from Narsee Monjee Institute, Mumbai. He joined STAR India in the early years of his career as associate vice-president, research and strategic planning, in 2001.
