BIG RTL, the joint venture between Reliance Broadcast Network and Europe’s RTL Group, has announced the appointment of Vijay Koshy as Vice-President. Koshy will be responsible for driving revenue along with profitability growth for the channel, while being responsible for the overall operations in India. He will report to the joint venture board.
With over 20 years in the advertising and media industry, Koshy began his career with Interact Vision in 1991 and went on to work with some reputed names in the media industry like Enterprise Advertising, Grey, Lowe Lintas and JWT Fulcrum before moving to the broadcast industry. Beginning with Star TV in 2000, he has worked with leading broadcasters like ESPN Star Sports and Sony Entertainment over the next nine years before moving into the retail space around four years ago. His last assignment was with the Future Group’s media venture Future Media as National Sales Head.
