IBF appoints Shailesh Shah as Secretary General

Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF) has announced on 27 February the appointment of Shailesh Shah as its Secretary General. 
With over 28 years of experience in a variety of industries, Shah will augment IBF’s efforts in building a robust and profitable broadcasting industry in India. 

IBF President Manjit Singh said, “Shailesh’s wide experience in delving into industry fundamentals to drive value creation will be of immense value to the foundation. I, along with the rest of the members, welcome Shailesh to IBF.” 
Founded in 1999, the Indian Broadcasting Foundation is India’s premier body of television broadcasters. IBF consists of 53 major broadcasters with more than 250 TV channels. As the apex industry association of the broadcast industry, IBF plays a critical role in building consensus on major issues across the industry.
