Shyam Networks wins deal from Nigerian internet company

Indian telecom equipment maker Shyam Networks has bagged a deal from Nigeria-based Company Direct on PC for delivering internet services. 
"Driven by a strong need to incorporate reliable services, enterprise customers are always demanding to have better Internet related services. This is where we have decided to go with Shyam's P2P radio products," DoPC Managing Director Anurag Garg said in a statement. 

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. DoPC will deploy Shyam's product in the network that are used to provide internet services to business organisations, the statement said. 
"This platform deploys high-speed wireless IP (internet) connections between multiple remote locations through high- capacity point-to-point and from a point to multipoint links," Shyam Networks COO Nafis Kazim said. 
He added that the products can provide coverage of up to 40 kilometre.
