ESPN Star Sports launches Facebook app for Olympics

ESPN Star Sports has launched My Country, My Cheer, a Facebook app for Indian sport fans just a few weeks before the London Olympics kick off. 
The app will enable India sports fans to post their encouragement for the nation’s Olympic athletes. It will also provide the detailed schedule of the events to be held during the Games. 

Users will also be able to share their supporting words on their individual Facebook walls, invite friends and tweet about it. 
Users will also get a chance to win exclusive ESPN Star Sports London 2012 prizes for writing the most creative and passionate cheer. 
ESPN Star Sports, the official broadcaster of the London 2012 Olympic Games will provide more than 1,200 hours of coverage across ESPN, Star Sports and ESPN HD during the Games.
