Facebook acquires Finnish fitness app

Social networking site Facebook has acquired Helsinki-based fitness tracking app Moves in an undisclosed deal.
“We are joining Facebook’s talented team to work on building and improving their products and services with a shared mission of supporting simple, efficient tools for more than a billion people,” a statement from the firm read.

Facebook has confirmed to the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) that the Moves deal was “nowhere near the size of other acquisitions the company has made in recent months.
